To copy a configuration and its derived Configuration
Friday, August 17, 2007
Is there a way to copy a configuration and it's derived configuration ?

Yes.This can be done easily. Select the configuration that has the derived configuration attached to it. From the standard toolbar, select "Edit" and then select "Copy". Then select the very top line at the configuration manager (usually Solidworks filename). Select "Edit", and then "paste".

Then the copy of that configuration will be created.

"Ctrl+c" and "Ctrl+v" will also work in this regard.
